ASSISTANT TEACHER
North Brown County
Jackson County

NEK-CAP, Inc. is searching for a team member to be an Assistant Teacher in the Head Start Centers in North Brown County and Jackson County. This position will assure a supportive role in the daily operation of the center and provide assistance to the teacher. Provides opportunities for the parents to learn about the development of their children. Ability to lift up to 50 lb. Requires High School Diploma or GED and one-three years experience working with children in a group setting. Knowledge of computers required. This is a nine month position. 

Must hold a valid Driver's license, good driving record and willing to obtain CDL within six months of employment. Must pass health assessment, T.B. test and criminal background check. CHILD & FAMILY ADVOCATE 0-3
Leavenworth County

This position plans and carries out program activities to promote healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, enhance the development of very young children, and promote healthy families. High school diploma or GED and 60 hours of college credit required. BA or BS in Social Work or Early Childhood field preferred. Two years experience working in social services field or working with children birth through three.
